Depending on the area in which you require treatment, you may be asked to undress. Our acupuncture treatment room ensures privacy. We provide blankets to cover any exposed areas where acupuncture needles are not used.
Here’s how an acupuncture session typically goes: Since the needles used in acupuncture are very small, they generally cause pain when inserted into the skin. Some patients may not even realize they are being inserted, while others may feel discomfort. Usually, around 5 to 20 needles are inserted.
Once the needles are in place, you will be asked to lie and relax for 10 to 20 minutes before they are removed. When the time comes to remove the needles, it is usually a process.
